"My favourite memories are definitely all of the lifelong friendships I've made through the PKC. I have close friends from across the country & globally that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet if it wasn't for karate. The doors it has opened for me still blows my mind. Being able to be a part of my Dad's club and work side by side with him has been the biggest honour of all.
My goals include furthering my karate skills and knowledge as well as seeing my kids make as many memories here as I have!"

Shodan (1st Degree)
"My favourite things about karate is watching people learn and accomplish things that they didn’t think they couldn’t do. Seeing the students progress and have pride in what they do is so rewarding as a sensei.
I joined karate with my brother when we were kids but he decided it wasn’t for him. I stayed and met my best friend and found a community that has welcomed me back again and again. My goals for myself are to be a sensei that encourages students to do their best an to have fun while doing it. I also would like to be able to keep learning and progressing myself alongside my family."

Shodan (1st Degree)
"I started as a father taking two of my sons to Karate and spent my evening sitting there and thinking I could do this and since I'm here i may as well participate. That was many years ago. Being in the military I was sent overseas many times and also posted a few times. When i finally retired here in the Pembroke area I asked my granddaughter if she would join me. She agreed and we both started at white belt. My goal was to be a black belt before i was 60 years old. After a few years I finally made it. Today i still enjoy the training and discipline. My favorite part of being a black belt is teaching our younger and older students, seeing them succeed is the greatest reward any sensei can ask for."
